9/11 blogging

Today was analyzing day. I looked over the score of the piece and I had the accompaniment. I just realized something...I don’t know what I am going to do about the accompaniment! I can’t play anything while singing this kind of music. it will certainly distract me. I know the boundary line stops at outside help, but would it be possible to receive accompaniment from someone else? A chorus teacher found me in the practice room singing to a recording, and she offered to play the part for me. I told her of the No-Help situation, and she understood. Before she left, she did give me an offer to be an accompanist for the performance. She would be of no musical assistance once so ever, except playing along to my voice. I am a bit stuck here....
